Transfer Students Living in Other Districts
Students who reside outside the Vici Public Schools attendance area, who would like to attend our school, may apply for an Open Transfer at any time during the current school year.
Students from outside the district seeking to transfer for the upcoming 2022-2023 school year may apply on or after April 1st. Students will be notified after the July 1 capacity determination.
Vici Public Schools makes decisions about student transfers in accordance with state law and board policy.
Capacity Information
Refer to the chart at the link below to see spaces available by grade levels. Capacities are posted on the first day of January, April, July and October. Both enrollments of new students who move into the district and approval of transfers in the order they are received will cause capacities to change throughout the quarter and sometimes on a daily basis. Capacities will be updated regularly but not on a daily basis.
Helpful Information
New transfers are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Each application is date and time stamped upon submission and will be processed in the order they are received.
Transfers may be denied based on capacity, attendance and discipline issues.
Transfers for siblings must be considered separately.
If the grade a student requests is over capacity, the student will be placed on a waiting list for the grade they requested.
