The 2026-2027 School Year will begin on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 for all students! This calendar will be updated in July to reflect the new year's meal prices. A revised and final version will be shared in our school app, and it will be made available at family events in August. We hope you're having a safe and fun summer!

Sports/Band Physicals have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 27th, at Seiling. The girls’ bus will leave Vici at 8:00 am, and the boys’ bus will leave at 9:00 am.
Participants who plan to play any sport or play in the band are required to have an annual physical.
🔴 Students will need 4 forms on the day of physicals, and all need to be signed by a parent.

PARENT OPTIONS FOR OBTAINING FORMS:

2. Forms can be picked up at the table in front of Mr. Nelson’s office beginning at noon on Tuesday, May 26th.
3. Forms will be made available at the gym, and any student who attends Summer Pride can pick them up there.

🔴Riding the bus is not required, and you may meet the buses at the Seiling Health Clinic at 8:30 am for girls and 9:30 for boys.

Vici Public Schools would like to welcome Braden Estraca and his wife, Jordan, to our school family for the 26-27 school year! Coach Estraca is the new Head JH & HS Baseball Coach. Here is just a little bit about Coach Estraca's journey to Vici:
"My name is Braden Estraca. I am originally from Granite, OK, where I fell in love with the game of baseball. I furthered my education and baseball career at Connor’s State, and finished my degree and baseball career at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. My wife,Jordan, and I have made a home in Woodward. We have two dogs, Jax and Charlie, and enjoy spending time outside, hunting, and watching the New York Mets. I am excited for my new role as head baseball coach. I love the tradition of winning and hard work that Vici has. I look forward to getting to know my players, and the people of Vici. Go Indians!!"

Today, four talented seniors received scholarship offers from the SWOSU Music Department! Shelby Campbell, Ruel Carnagey, Gavin McGaha, and Randy Stewart were offered scholarships to continue their music education careers by Dr. Shelley Martinson, SWOSU Music Department Chair and Dr. Daniel Farris, SWOSU Vocal Instructor.

Vici 7th grade student Shade Castor places in 3rd place in the state in the OK250 Education Contest!
This year, Oklahoma students in kindergarten through grade 12 were invited to participate in a special contest to celebrate the United States' Semiquincentennial. Students in grades 6 through 12 were eligible to compete in a creativity contest with the categories of documentary, performance, or essay.
Shade was presented with her award and citation by State Superintendent Fields. Additionally, Representative Dobrinski and Senator Murdock also sought her out to present her with a certificate. The winners were also recognized on the House floor!
Shade also receives $200 and her teacher, Mrs. Hazelbaker, receives $250 for her classroom. Great job, Shade! We are so proud of you! #viciproud
