🎈📸We have created a fun and memorable spot to take all of your First Day of School Pictures! These decorations are located in front of the Elementary on Speck Street. (Remember, it’s ONE-WAY!)
🎈REMINDER! The Bus unloading/car line unloading is on the EAST side of Speck St. If you plan to get out of your car to take pictures on the lawn, park on the WEST side of Speck St. (This applies for every day beyond the first day also.)
🎈After taking pictures, hug your children, high-five them or give them some encouraging words before sending them inside the school building on their own. We have many staff members who will make sure they go to breakfast in the cafeteria or to their classroom.

SCHOOL STARTS THURSDAY, AUGUST 6th!
Please make our students' safety a top priority every day!
🛑The school zone speed limit is 10 MPH, and Miller and Speck Streets are ONE-WAY during the posted hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.
🚌Buses unload JH & HS students at the South end of the gym and Elementary students in front of the Elementary. 🚨DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE PAST A BUS THAT IS UNLOADING WITH ITS STOP SIGN DEPLOYED.
🚗 Cars unloading or picking up students at the elementary should form a single file line, as shown in the graphic. DO NOT get out of your car if you are in the car line. You may park on the West side of Speck street if you need to leave your car. K-6 Students will be released to cars in the car line first at dismissal.
🚙 Pre-K students and their siblings will be released from the Pre-K room. Cars will drive from East to West in the Pre-K pickup line, and will exit the line and turn North out of the playground.
We are excited to see everyone, and hope this information will help keep all students safe and our arrival and dismissal processes efficient.

The first day of school is quickly approaching! We want to remind parents and students that the Bell to Bell No Cell Phone Law has been made permanent in Oklahoma. In accordance with the law, Vici Public Schools students will NOT be allowed to use cell phones, Bluetooth headphones, Smartwatches, or any personal device that connects wirelessly during the school day.
Parents can help by reminding students to leave personal devices at home or stored in backpacks. Phones must be TURNED OFF and STORED OUT OF SIGHT during the school day.

Is your child starting 7th grade? As the new school year nears, we want to remind parents about the TDAP requirement for incoming 7th graders. Please bring proof of immunization to enroll and select classes. If you have previously completed an exemption through the state, that will be on file. If you would like to apply for an exemption online (for any incoming student), please visit https://imm-public.osdh.immytech.com/ to register an account and submit an application. Bring the exemption certificate to enrollment. It could take up to 2 weeks to receive an exemption certificate, so please don't hesitate to get started so your child will be ready to start school on August 6th. The summertime OSSAA dead week period is June 27th through July 5th, 2026.
During this time, student-athletes cannot participate in school athletic activities.
• 7-12th grade students enrolled or pre-enrolled students at a member school may not use any member school's athletic facilities during the dead period in connection with any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA.
• Member school coaches, assistant coaches, and sponsors may not have any contact with secondary-level enrolled or pre-enrolled students in that member school in any athletic activity governed by the OSSAA for the purpose of coaching, training or instructing.

The 2026-2027 School Year will begin on Thursday, August 6th, 2026 for all students! This calendar will be updated in July to reflect the new year's meal prices.
