Please come meet our 24-25 VPS teachers on Wednesday, August 7th from 4:30 to 5:30 pm! We'll be serving homemade ice cream, elementary families can take photos in the front yard with the Welcome Back to School signs, and families can visit with teachers and administrators in the cafeteria. Following this event, there will be parent meetings for students who are entering Pre-K and Kindergarten. Pre-K will meet with Mrs. Cole at 5:30, and Kindergarten will meet with Mrs. Lopez at 5:50 in their classrooms. 🚨2024-2025 enrollment for all students is set for Wednesday & Thursday, July 24th and 25th in the gym lobby. A schedule for Elementary or JH/HS times can be located in the attached graphic. Enrollment forms will be ready to download and print or pick up at the school on Monday, July 22nd. (Please do NOT print forms found on the website BEFORE 7.22.24 as they are not all updated yet.) 🆕🚨NEW THIS YEAR for 7-12! Mr. Robertson will hold a group meeting with each class at the START of the class’s enrollment times. Please arrive on time so you don’t miss the information he gives each class before you may enroll. 📋Enrollment Information for ALL STUDENTS: ✔️All students must have complete and current enrollment paperwork on file before they can enroll in courses or classes at Vici Schools. ✔️New students (including PreK & K) must provide a state-issued birth certificate, up-to-date shot record, and proof of residency in the Vici School District. Proof of Residency must be a utility bill, rental agreement, etc with the parent/guardian’s name and physical address that is dated within 30 days of enrollment. Hello! On July 31st I will be hosting a Meet the Band Director night at the school. If you are in band or interested in being in band please come! I would love to meet all of you! I am wanting to restart the band boosters program at Vici as well. If you are interested in being a part of the committee please come and learn about it! Vici will be hosting their first ever Summer Band camp August 1st and 2nd. If your child is planning on being in HS band (7th-12th) please make sure that they are in attendance! (softball and baseball kids will be excused for their game) There will be a fun day Saturday August 3rd for students who attend both days of camp! I’m looking forward to meeting everyone! OSSAA DEAD PERIOD IS JUNE 30-JULY 7. The summertime OSSAA dead week period is June 30 - July 7, 2024. During this time, student-athletes cannot participate in school athletic activities.

Sports/Band Physicals have been scheduled for Monday, June 24th at Seiling at 8 am. The girls’ bus will leave Vici at 7:30 am, and the boys’ bus will leave at 8:15 am. Participants who plan to play any sport or play in the band are required to have an annual physical. 🔴 Students will need 4 forms on the day of physicals, and all need to be signed by a parent. ✔️OSSAA Physical Form ✔️Concussion: Head Injury Acknowledgement Form ✔️Sudden Cardiac Arrest ✔️ Seiling Hospital Parent Consent Form PARENT OPTIONS FOR OBTAINING FORMS: 1. Forms can be picked up at the table in front of Mr. Nelson’s office beginning at noon on Wednesday, June 19th. 3. Forms will be made available in the school weight room so any student who attends Summer Pride can pick them up on Thursday, June 20th 4. Forms will also be available on June 24th at the bus, but they MUST be signed by a parent before your child leaves for physicals. 🔴Riding the bus is not required, and you may meet the buses at the Seiling Health Clinic at 8 am for girls and 8:45 for boys. 🔴 If you are unable to get a physical on the 24th, it will be the parents’ responsibility to schedule and obtain a physical for your child. 🔴 All incoming 7-12 athletes and band members MUST have a current physical on file with Mr. Robertson BEFORE they are able to practice or play.

HELP US WELCOME MRS. JANNA KELLY TO VICI PUBLIC SCHOOLS! Vici Public Schools is excited to share that Mrs. Kelly will be joining our team to teach music classes, assist with 7-12 band, and will be the piano accompanist for 7-12 choir for the 24-25 school year. Mrs Kelly shared this brief introduction with us: "Hello! My name is Janna Kelly and I am excited to be joining the Vici Public School family. I bring fifteen years of music education experience at all grade levels. I received my Bachelor's of Music from OBU and am also early childhood certified. I will be teaching a fine arts elective, early childhood music, accompanying choir and assisting with band. My husband and I have three adult children and will be empty nesters this fall. The Rocky Mountain Puppets show was so much fun! Meghan and her sidekick, Aiden the Dino, took boys and girls on an adventure in search of fossils! Next up! Week 3 of the Summer Reading Program made possible by WPLS will be Mad Science! The program will begin at 4 pm in Jerald Shaw auditorium on Monday, June 17th! Don't forget to get signed up for summer reading through WPLS, and We'll see you there!

HELP US WELCOME MISS KATHRYN FENTON TO VICI PUBLIC SCHOOLS! Vici Public Schools is excited to share that Miss Fenton will be teaching 3rd grade for the 24-25 school year, and she has shared a brief introduction with us: “Hello! My name is Kathryn Fenton. I am so excited to be the new third grade teacher at Vici Public Schools! I graduated from Oklahoma State University with my B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences with a focus in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I completed my first year teaching at Glencoe Elementary School as their kindergarten teacher. After deciding I wanted to be closer to family, this position became available and I knew I had to apply! I grew up spending summers with my grandparents here in Vici and often attending basketball and softball games for my cousins. You will often find me walking or playing with my dog Sadie after school hours! If you see us around don't hesitate to say hi! Vici Public Schools is excited to share that Miss Stutzman will be directing music at all ages for the 24-25 school year, and she has shared a brief introduction with us: “Hello! My name is Erika Stutzman and I am going to be the new band, choir, and elementary music teacher here in Vici! I am so excited to be joining your community and I look forward to the start of the new school year! I was born and raised on a farm in Weatherford, OK. I graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with bachelors degrees in both music education and elementary education. I have a passion for music and working with children! State Assessments for ALL JUNIORS (and Seniors who have not yet taken them) have been scheduled. These tests are REQUIRED FOR GRADUATION. History ➡️ April 2nd Science ➡️ April 3rd ACT ➡️ April 9th Tests begin at 8:15 AM and juniors will NOT attend the career tech on these days.
