Vici Public Schools has cancelled school for Monday, August 25th, 2025. At this time, all school facilities are without power & it is uncertain when it will be restored. Thank you for your understanding as Mr. Nelson makes this difficult decision.

Vici JH/HS students participated in Student Council Elections this week! Six upperclassmen campaigned for offices and delivered speeches. Those students are Gavin McGaha, Hannah Nance, Raquel Todd, Eli Harrel, Abigail Poulson, and Isaac Keeton. Great job to all who campaigned! 👏🏻

We are excited to announce that our annual Cookie Dough fundraiser starts Friday, August 22nd! We will be sending home all the information with your student on Friday. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Our goal is to raise $30,000 in total sales for Classroom needs for Students, Books, Playground Equipment and Field Trips.

Yesterday, we had some high school students who felt uncomfortable about their surroundings while walking downtown at lunch time. Please remind your children to practice safety strategies like not walking alone and being aware of their surroundings at all times, even when in a group. Remind them that if they feel uncomfortable about their surroundings or feel unsafe in any manner they should call 911 or the school at 580-995-4251.
Vici Police Department and SRO Berrios will increase their patrol of our campus and surrounding area as well.
We certainly don't intend to scare anyone with this information, but we care about out students and want them to be vigilant in being safe when they are on or off campus. Please feel free to contact your child's principal if you have any questions or concerns.

We're ready for the 1st full week of classes, and our students also have several activities going on this week! Here is what is happening in Indian Territory for the week of August 11-16th.
The City of Vici has recently modified the school zone times. School zone speed limit and directional street regulations will be in effect from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
⭕Please take note of streets that are ONE WAY during this time as well as posted speed limits as this will be enforced throughout the school year by our local police department.
🚌Also, please watch out for buses on their routes and when they are dropping/picking up students at school. When you see their flashing lights and stop sign, STOP! 🛑

This month's menu is located under dining in the app, but tomorrow's FIRST DAY breakfast is French Toast Sticks, Sausage, Cereal, Fruit Juice/Milk. Lunch includes Hamburgers, French Fries, Pineapple, and Ice Cream. We can't wait to see YOU tomorrow!

🎈📸We have created a fun and memorable spot to take all of your First Day of School Pictures! These decorations are located in front of the Elementary on Speck Street. (Remember, it’s ONE-WAY!)
🎈REMINDER! The Bus unloading/car line unloading is on the EAST side of Speck St. If you plan to get out of your car to take pictures on the lawn, park on the WEST side of Speck St. (This applies for every day beyond the first day also.)
🎈After taking pictures, hug your children, high-five them or give them some encouraging words before sending them inside the school building on their own. We have many staff members who will make sure they go to breakfast in the cafeteria or to their classroom.

REMINDER! Everyone is invited to Meet Our PREK to 12 Teacher Night, Wednesday, August 6th from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the cafeteria!
🍎Welcome back signs will be in front of the Elementary, so feel free to snap some photos during the evening or the morning of the 1st day!
🍎Also Pre-K and Kindergarten teachers will hold parent meetings in their classrooms following Meet the Teacher. The Pre-K meeting begins at 5:30, and the Kindergarten meeting begins at 5:50 in their respective classrooms.
🖍️The PTO provides all school supplies for students-We are fortunate to have parents who volunteer to continue this critical need! Thank you, PTO!
*The PREK & K teachers have a few extra supply requests. Please bring any school supplies for students in PreK and Kindergarten when you come to the parent meeting.
🚨REMINDER! JUNIORS & SENIORS can set their schedules today between 3 and 8 pm after their online enrollment is complete and has been submitted. Directions to enroll online can be found here or on the website or Facebook page.
