The 7th & 8th grade Regional Powerlifting Meet was held today, March 4th, at Chisholm High School. Ten Vici students competed in various weight classes in today’s Regional.
Four of our powerlifters placed in the Top 5 in their weight divisions and will now advance to the State Powerlifting Meet on Thursday, March 12th held at El Reno High School.

Kelsey Evans, the Business Education Teacher at Vici Public Schools was awarded 2026 BPA Secondary Advisor of the Year. This award recognizes an outstanding local chapter advisor within the secondary division who has completed a minimum of three full years as an advisor and has made significant contributions to Oklahoma BPA at the local, state, and/or national level.
Oklahoma BPA state Advisor, Mark Burch shared "Kelsey’s dedication to her students and commitment to the mission of Business Professionals of America exemplify the very best of CareerTech leadership. Her efforts in developing student leaders and advancing her local chapter have made a meaningful impact both within your school community and across our state organization."

📢Calling All Basketball Parents of 3rd graders and up! 🏀
Vici has been selected to host the 2026 District and Regional Tournaments! This is an extreme honor! Part of hosting is providing a hospitality room for coaches, administrators, and referees.
The District & Regional Tournaments combined span 5 days, and we are asking parents to sign up at the link below to volunteer to bring food items on Feb. 13, 17, & 19-21. John Hazelbaker has volunteered to smoke meat for the final 3 days of the Regional tournament, but meat/monetary donations are needed! If you would like to donate meat or money toward meat to be smoked, please contact Dr. Nelson or Coach Terrell before Wednesday, February 11th.

Eli was one of four finalists for this year’s Youth Tour contest. This week, he and the other finalists completed their final presentations and interviews to determine who would win a trip to Washington D.C. this summer, or a $1,000 scholarship to the college or trade school of their choice upon enrollment.
Eli was selected in the top two and has earned the Youth Tour to Washington D.C. and a $250 prize!
