Incoming 7-12th Athletes & Band Members: mark your calendars for June 29th!
Sports/Band Physicals have been scheduled for Wednesday, May 28th at Seiling at 9:00 am. The girls’ bus will leave Vici at 8:30 am, and the boys’ bus will leave at 9:00 am.
Participants who plan to play any sport or play in the band are required to have an annual physical.
❗️Students will need 4 forms on the day of physicals, and all need to be signed by a parent/guardian:
✔️2025 OSSAA Physical Form
✔️Concussion: Head Injury Acknowledgement Form
✔️Sudden Cardiac Arrest
✔️ Seiling Hospital Parent Consent Form
PARENT OPTIONS FOR OBTAINING FORMS:
1. Forms can be printed from the school website at this link (or go to DISTRICT INFORMATION and click on DOCUMENTS) https://www.vicischools.k12.ok.us/documents/district-information/documents/athletic-forms-and-information/572603
2. Forms can be picked up at the table in front of Mr. Nelson’s office beginning at noon on Monday, May 19th.
3. Forms will be made available in the school weight room so any student who attends Summer Pride can pick them up on beginning Monday, May 19th
4. Forms will also be available on May 28th at the bus, but they MUST be signed by a parent before your child leaves for physicals.
🔴Riding the bus is not required, and you may meet the buses at the Seiling Health Clinic at 9 am for girls and 9:30 for boys.
🔴 If you are unable to get a physical on the 28th, it will be the parents’ responsibility to schedule and obtain a physical for your child.
🔴 All incoming 7-12 athletes and band members MUST have a current physical on file with Mr. Robertson BEFORE they are able to practice or play.

Vici Elementary is excited to partner with the Western Plains Library and the Bookmobile to bring fun and educational programs to Vici this summer! AND, we encourage you to participate in the Summer Reading Program to earn fun prizes for READING BOOKS!
Our first program of the summer will be Spaghetti Eddie on Monday, June 2nd at 4 pm in Jerald Shaw Auditorium. All programs are free and often engage children in the audience. Join us on June 2nd, and as always....keep reading!!

Thank you Vici PTO for treating our teachers and staff to great food, drinks, and snacks this week for Teacher Appreciation Week! Eight Vici musicians have been selected to participate in the 2025 K-101 Classic Bowl Honor Band! These students will practice with area musicians, perform a street show, march in the K101 Classic Bowl Parade, and perform at half-time of the Classic Bowl Football Game! Keep an eye out here for the schedule of events -as Vici has MANY participants in all of the K101 Classic Bowl events!

The BIG FOUR Track Meet is Monday, May 5th at 9 am at Mutual. Third through Sixth grades participate in the meet and need to bring or wear the following: Tennis shoes, A Vici or Red Shirt, sack lunch and drinks (concession will be available), a hat, and sunscreen. Classes will depart at 8:15 am.
