Vici musicians had great success at their State competitions!
At State Band: Graham Heidlebaugh received a Superior for his tuba solo and the quartet also received a Superior rating. Quartet members are Rylee Arnold, Graham Heidlebaugh, Ian Heidlebaugh, and Eli Harrel.
At State Choir: All vocalists received Excellent ratings. State choir performers are Chloe Boswell, Landon Coleman, Ruel Carnagey, Gavin McGaha, and Randy Stewart.

Vici Students compete and win in the Oklahoma Scholarship Competition. For nearly 50 years, the Oklahoma Hall of Fame has been making higher education possible for Oklahoma students! Each spring, students in grades 9-12 test their knowledge of Oklahoma's history through the Oklahoma Scholarship Competition to earn cash scholarships or tuition grants. At least 10 scholarships are available in each of Oklahoma's 77 counties.
Of the 10 scholarships available to win in Dewey County, Vici students won 9 of them! Congratulations to these students who received their $1,000 individual scholarships to university of their choice:
Kieara Grant, Bryonna Lund, Coriella Parry, Mia Cole, Kirra Griffin, Hannah Nance, Hayden Nebhut, Marcus Flores, and Abigail Poulson!

Vici 2025 Prom is Saturday, April 26th. Weather permitting, promenade will take place outside at the easy gym lobby entrance and will start at 6:30 pm. The community is invited to view 2025 Promenade and see our young men and women dress up in their formal attire!

Vici Public Schools is excited to announce that Dr, Kas Nelson, Principal of Vici Elementary, received the Oklahoma Association of Elementary School Principals 2025 OKLAHOMA ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR award and the National Association of Elementary School Principals NATIONAL DISTINGUISHED PRINCIPAL OF THE YEAR award!

Vici Elementary will host Pre-Enrollment for all new students for the 2025-2026 school year on April 29th and 30th. Families may enroll either day between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. New students include incoming 4-year-olds, as well as students who may be planning to attend school at Vici in any grade next year and are currently not enrolled at Vici.
Pre-enrollment helps us plan for staffing needs for the upcoming year, so please share this information with any family that might have children who plan to attend Vici Elementary next year. Families should bring these documents to pre-enrollment:
✔️Birth certificate
✔️Current shot-records
✔️Proof of residence within the Vici School District (A water or electric bill)

Baseball playoff t-shirts are being sold now! All orders are due by the end of the school day on Tuesday, April 15th! Forms were sent with elementary students last Thursday, and are available at the school. Get your shirt and get ready to follow the Indians into Districts!! Go Indians!
Vici students have been fortunate to be coached and taught by Coach Haley and Coach Watkins for the last few years. We are thankful for these two coaches and their dedication and influence on our students. We appreciate the time and sacrifices they have made while molding and teaching our young people. Thank you for being caring educators, Coach Haley and Coach Watkins.

Reminder for all juniors! The Science test begins at 8:15 am tomorrow, April 7th. All Juniors are required to take this test. Eat a healthy breakfast and arrive at school on time!
